The Facility
Nashville School for the Aerial Arts is housed within a 5000 square-foot climate-controlled space with a 32 foot indoor clearance. Our structure is designed specifically for the practice of any aerial discipline and incorporates various types of rigging into its structure for enhanced safety and optimal space utilization. Our enhanced ventilation system is especially beneficial for indoor training during these unprecedented times. Our facility is designed and built by Walfer Guerrero of MegaTents, LLC. Mr. Guerrero, who also serves as our Director of Facilities & Operations, comes from seven generations of circus performers. He and his family, the Guerrero Family High Wire Act, have performed highwire, wheel of death, and flying trapeze around the world. Mr. Guerrero has worked for Ringling Bros, Circus Knie, Circus Krone, Carre theatre in Amsterdam, Circus Althoff, Circus Pinder, Cirque Akrobat, and UniverSoul Circus.

The Rigging
The rigging at NSAA consists of a built-in full-sized flying trapeze rig, as well as 2 rigging points at 32 feet and 8 rigging points at 25 feet for static aerial apparatus. Our rigging was designed to allow for the simultaneous use of the flying trapeze unit and rigging points. All of our rigging is designed, fabricated, and inspected by circus riggers who have worked with world-renowned circus companies and circus schools such as Ringling Brothers, Cirque du Soleil, and Circus Warehouse.
